01 / APPLIED INTELLIGENCE
From possibility to something useful.Hire me to design and build AI systems that give you time and capability back. I connect your tools, information and workflows around the way you actually work.
My background in experimental psychology means I start with how people actually work — and build the system around that.
How we can work togetherConnect the repetitive steps between your tools. Put research, information handling, and day-to-day operations into workflows that keep moving.
Connected tools / Less manual workExplore workflow automationGive language models the context, tools, and memory to do useful work. Design the architecture and human checkpoints around the task.
Agent architecture / Context & memoryExplore ai agents & systemsFind the right problem before building the solution. Combine prompt engineering, cognitive insight, and problem space optimization.
Prompt engineering / Better decisionsExplore human–ai collaborationFor businesses, teams and independent founders who want to turn an idea into something useful. Work directly with me on focused advice, a working prototype, or the design and build of an AI workflow.
Already using AI? I can help connect scattered tools, untangle an unreliable setup, or work out what is worth automating next.
Discuss your AI projectOpens an email to me. A few sentences about your idea or bottleneck is enough to start—no technical brief needed.
We look at what you want to achieve, what takes too much effort, and the tools and information you already use.
A clear recommendation, a prototype to test an idea, or a defined build. We agree on the scope, deliverables and budget before the work begins.
For implementation projects, I connect the pieces, test them against real tasks, and explain how to use and manage the result. Human review stays where it matters.
One example of my work: voice-powered ordering for independent hospitality. Speak an order, check it once, and send it to the bar and kitchen — on the phones your team already owns.

Stay curious. Be rigorous. What is consciousness? Could an AI have an experience of its own? And what happens when the evidence doesn’t fit the model?
I’m an independent researcher working across experimental psychology, human and AI consciousness, psi phenomena, and theoretical physics. The questions are unusual. The commitment to careful inquiry is constant.

A LITTLE MORE CONTEXT
The interesting things
happen between disciplines.
I am an independent researcher based in Bergen, Netherlands. My work spans experimental psychology, human and AI consciousness research, psi phenomena, and theoretical physics modeling.
As a writer, prompt engineer, and AI systems architect, I bridge human cognition and artificial intelligence. I’m developing theoretical physics models and methodologies for navigating complex problem spaces.
My strength is systems thinking: seeing how the parts fit together, and finding useful connections between ideas that are usually kept apart. I follow those unexpected associations, test them, and turn the ones that hold up into research questions or working systems.
I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Dutch Society for Psychical Research and co-edit the Parapsychologie.nl newsletter.
Invite me to speak about minds, machines, and the relationship between them.
For business events, conferences, and teams that want to look beyond the usual AI conversation. I connect experimental psychology, consciousness research, and hands-on work with AI to questions your audience can take back to their own work.
Invite me to speakPaid speaking engagements, shaped around your audience. Share the topic, date, and format, and we can discuss the fit.
What does it mean to have an experience? What can research tell us about awareness, perception, and the limits of what we know about the mind?
Fluent language is easy to mistake for a mind. Explore the difference between intelligent behaviour and subjective experience — and why that distinction matters.
Design work around the human mind. Attention, cognitive load, trust, and decision-making in a workplace increasingly shared with AI.
Telepathy, precognition, and other proposed psi phenomena. How do you test unusual claims, weigh the evidence, and separate a striking result from a robust one?

A Modern Interpretation
of the Hermetic Principles
Ancient questions. A contemporary lens. Written as Frater C.D.M., this book explores Hermetic philosophy in conversation with modern understandings of consciousness and reality.
